EDR have partnered with a rapidly expanding enterprise focused project who are developing cutting-edge smart contract solutions. This project is the most likely bridge between blockchain technology and enterprise offerings. With a recent funding round secured, they are now growing the core development team.

Role: Snr Blockchain Security Engineer

Location: Remote

Responsibilities:

• Smart Contract Audits – Conduct thorough audits of smart contracts to identify vulnerabilities, inefficiencies, and areas of optimization. Collaborate with development teams to rectify identified issues and ensure the highest level of security.
• Security Protocols Development – Design and implement advanced security protocols and best practices for our blockchain solutions. Stay updated with the latest security threats and countermeasures in the blockchain space.
• Infrastructure Security – Ensure the security of the blockchain infrastructure, including nodes, APIs, and associated databases. Work closely with the development and operations teams to integrate security measures throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Documentation – Create comprehensive documentation on security measures, protocols, and audit results. Develop guidelines and standards for coding and infrastructure setup to ensure security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH).
• Proven experience in blockchain security, with a focus on smart contract auditing.
• Familiarity with popular blockchain platforms like Ethereum, Solana, Binance Smart Chain, Cardano, etc.
• Proficient in Solidity and other smart contract languages.
• Strong understanding of cryptographic principles and their application in blockchain.
• Ability to think critically and anticipate potential security threats.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience in an enterprise setting or with large-scale blockchain projects.
• Familiarity with DeFi projects and associated security challenges.
